A Close-Knit Baseball Family that Plays and Grows Together

Welcome to the official site of the Carolinas Metro Reds, an organization focused on providing a safe opportunity for underserved and disadvantaged youth to develop baseball and life skills, advance academically and grow socially in a family environment. Led by former MLB player Morris Madden, we help kids reach their full potential through integrated athletic, academic and life skills development programming -- all through the dynamic lens of the game of baseball.

Our beloved and time-honored game has become more of a club sport over the years, as costs of equipment and team-participation continue to rise. We are lowering the barrier of entry, raising the standard for inclusion within baseball and leveling the playing field for those kids and families who want to reap the life-changing benefits that the game has to offer. At CMR, along with our programming partners, we pride ourselves on high-level coaching, teaching and mentorship in a diverse, family environment.
